Window Awnings & Canopies

Want to look outdoors in the heat of summer and yet your windows are fully shaded and your house is up to 15 degrees cooler?  Then window awnings may be the perfect answer for you.  They retract by rolling up into a cylinder.  Also the window can be almost fully covered by letting the awning unroll by allowing the arm that extends from the side of the structure, to fall downward pulling the fabric with it.  These awnings can be operated by tapes or a steel wand.

Motors and Sensors

Add a motor to your awning and it will extend or retract with a simple flick of a switch.  Even though retracting your awning is a simple task using the wand you may consider motorization on wide widths.  Our awnings come an manual override so that you can close your awning in the case of a power failure.  The motor can be simply plugged into an outlet or wired in by an electrician.

Other desirable motor upgrades are sun and wind sensors.  When you are away, count on the sun sensor to automatically extend your awning keeping your home cool.  If a strong breeze comes along, in comes the awning, safe from the wind.
