Bamboo makes a beautiful, warm, environmentally friendly floor that can be enjoyed for many years. Bamboo is a grass and not a wood. Therefore, it is harvested within four to eight weeks after sprouting, and that qualifies it as a truly renewable resource. The best bamboo for flooring grows on the top portion of a mountain with moderate to heavy rain, is harvested in the winter, has a 3/4 to 1 inch wall thickness, and is located in the Fujian province of China.

The high-performance coating system consists of micro-imbedded particle modified acrylic urethane resins resistant to scratch, impact, and abrasion. The six-layer coat has a 15 year warranty.
